TV show

         “Chun Wan” is a very famous TV show in China. It plays one time per year. Everyone lives in China watches it in Chinese New Year Eve. Its purpose is to celebrate New Year.  There are a lot of people wish to show in that show. It takes about 4hours, and it includes all kinds of performs. There are acrobatic feats, pop music, dances, KongFu, and so on. I think that is a tradition of Chinese to celebrate the Chinese New Year. If you are interested in Chinese culture, that would be a part of you to study.

         In our glog, we go to the art center, and we find some paintings, sculptures, and so on. I see what different between the high culture and pop culture. And we also interview a few of people about the difference between them. I have recognized more about it already. I think the pop culture is around us. It includes the food, clothing, movies, music, and so on. When we went along the street, we would find a lot of pop culture. We saw a person who played guitar on the street, all kinds of food stores.

Technology

        Nowadays, computers become a part of our life, so I can’t image how people can live without computer. Computers can do whatever you want. Computers make my life more convenient, easier, and more colorful. I can’t image how my life will be without computers. I can buy goods in my computer, and then they will delivery to my home in a few days. In that ways, it saves a lot of times. I can also check and do my homework with my computer. I don’t to write down the homework in my note book. Computers help me to learn something easier. I listen to music, watch movies, and find some recipe in my laptop. I think the computer is one of the most amazing invention in the world.

        War horse is an epic war film directed by Steven Spielberg. It is talking about a horse named Joey’s whole life. His first owner named Albert, and he teaches Joey a lot of things. They like each other very much. However, life is very tough in that time. Albert’s father has to sell Joey to a leader of the army. So Joey needs to be a war horse in the war. Meanwhile, Albert has never given up looking for Joey. He goes to be a soldier for meeting Joey again. Luckily, they go through a lot of difficult situation, and they meet again. 

      

                             

      HUGO is a 3D film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by John Logan. It comes from a novel named “The invention of Hugo Cabret”. In movie, Hugo, a 12-year-old boy, has a tough life. He lives alone in the railway station. He steals food, maintains the clock for his uncle, and fixes his father’s robot with a note. He meets a girl who likes risk. They find out the secret of the robot. Then Hugo has different life. If you like to watch the 3D film, you must watch the Hugo. It doesn’t disappoint you. When you enjoy that movie you will forget the time. That is a wonderful movie in 2011. Hurry up! Come to the cinema to watch it.
